A weathered oil painting discovered in an antique shop, a black-and-white photograph collected during travels, or a simple image that reminds us of a favorite place can bring warmth, history and personality to a space.

Artwork and photography have a way of grounding a home. They tell the stories os where we have been, what we love, and the places that continue to inspire us. More than decoration, they become a part of the narrative of a room.

At the Collected Coastal, I am drawn to pieces that evoke a sense of place-old maritime paintings, coastal photography, vintage portraits, and images that capture the quiet beauty of a life near the water. Together, they create layers of history and help transform a house into a home.
