Antique Handmade French Grainsack Coastal Pillow

It all begins with an idea.

Some of my favorite pieces are the ones that carry a story.

These handmade pillows are created by my mother using carefully selected vintage and antique textiles, each one stitched with patience and attention to detail. No two are exactly alike, and each carries the character and imprecations that make old fabrics so special.

For me, they represent something I have always loved- surrounding ourselves with meaningful objects that feel collected rather than maufactured. Pieces that are made by hand, meant to be lived with, layered into a home, and enjoyed for years to come.

Many of you know that my mother often helps behind the scenes. Over the years she as sewn countless ribbons, wraps, and special details for my shop. Recently she began creating handmade pillows made from European antique textiles, and I couldn’t wait to share them here. Each one is thoughtfully made by hand and inspired by the collected, lived-homes we both love.

They are simple, timeless pieces that few right at homier a cottage by the water, a farmhouse, or anywhere that celebrates beauty in everyday living.
