The linen panel is embroidered with “Sea Yarns” alongside a delicate seahorse—a lovely play on words. Traditionally, a yarn can mean a tale or story, especially the old expression “sea yarns,” referring to stories and adventures told by sailors and seafarers. It gives this piece a little history and whimsy while still feeling wonderfully understated.
