An especially charming vintage wooden cheese drum, wrapped in beautifully faded blue-and-cream ticking stripe paper. The soft stripe, aged paper and primitive construction give this piece such an easy European cottage feel.
Originally made as a practical container for storing and transporting cheese, the drum is constructed from thin bent wood with wooden rims and visible metal staples. Years of age have left the paper wonderfully worn, with staining, small tears, fading and imperfections that only add to its character.
