Vintage Wooden Lobster Trap | Weathered Coastal Salvage
This item ships separately and cannot be combined with other purchases for shipping.
A wonderful piece of vintage maritime salvage, this rustic wooden lobster trap captures the unmistakable character of an old New England fishing village. Beautifully weathered with a sun-bleached wood finish, naturally aged patina and traditional slatted construction, it has all the charm of a treasure discovered along the shoreline.
Its curved wooden framework, woven netting and wonderfully worn surfaces lend an authentic nautical feel. The warm, faded tones and rustic textures make this an especially lovely statement piece for a collected coastal cottage.
A distinctive piece of maritime history, rich in character and beautifully imperfect.
Measurements
Approximately 28" long.
Naturally aged with weathering, worn wood and imperfections consistent with its vintage character.
Styling Note
Beautiful displayed on a large antique sideboard, beneath a cottage window or atop a rustic console. Fill with collected fishing floats, old rope, seashells or dried coastal grasses to create a wonderfully layered maritime vignette. Equally charming displayed on its own, allowing its sculptural shape and timeworn character to take center stage.
